The psalmist wrote: “I call on you, O God, for you will answer me” (Psalm 17:6). May we have that same certainty. With the assurance of God’s presence, let us joyfully worship before our loving Creator. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus Our Lord.
Paul, while imprisoned, encourages Timothy to fan into flame the gift of God, which is the Holy Spirit, which gives us power, love, and self-discipline. He reminds Timothy to not worry about him because he is convinced that he is able to guard what God has entrusted to him.
